The Integrated Chinese Level 2 Part 2 DVD gives students an up-close and authentic view of contemporary China through real-life situations and in-depth interviews.
The Level 2 DVDs take students into the streets of Beijing, as well as other locations in China. Each 4-6 minute documentary-style episode features conversations with the co-hosts and friends, interviews with native speakers of Chinese, and interviews with non-native speakers living and working in China. Students will explore themes in contemporary Chinese culture and society, while hearing the grammar and vocabulary they have studied used in context.
The Integrated Chinese DVDs can be adapted for most beginning Chinese language courses. Worksheets with pre- and post-viewing activities are available for free download on the Integrated Chinese Companion Website.
